ROOF INSTALLATION

Roof installation is a several step process, and it is our job to ensure that our customers fully understand the process, so we can manage their expectations. The typical steps include:

Removal & Delivery of Roofing Materials: On the day of installation, we will deliver a load of roof building material to your home. This material is handled by our staff, while maintaining clearance for the street and driveways. In parallel, a crew will remove the shingles, felt paper, and other parts of roofing system. If there are any plywood damages, they will be teared out and replaced before the installation process begins.

Roof Preparation: Once plywood repairs are made, we will start laying the roofing felt (also called roofing paper). Similarly ice and water shields are installed in for extra protection of vulnerable areas like valleys, chimneys etc. The felt is dried before installation of shingles could begin.

Roof Installation: Once the felt is replaced, secured and dried. The shingles of your choice can be installed. After the shingles are installed all other roofing accessories, vents, pipes, and gutters are aligned and secured. Some parts if the system can be painted to match the newly installed shingles.

Clean-up and Haulage: A detailed inspection and clean-up is conducted to ensure that debris, trash, shingle, and nails are picked up. A magnet is run around to assure that no nails or other sharp metal objects are left behind in drive ways that can cause tire damage. All construction debris is responsibly disposed to approved landfills.

We provide 5 year workmanship warranty on labor for all roof installations performed by Aspenwood Roofing.
